About Pax Garments Limited
Founded by Fr. Dr. Peter Yaw Oppong-Kumi after doctoral studies in Tübingen a decade ago to create employment opportunity for the youth, Pax Garments has grown steadily from employing two full time staff to about forty today. With firm support from Senator Gerhard Sturm, founder and former CEO of ebmpapst, Mulfingen and the diocese of Rottenburg Stuttgart, friends and benefactors, Pax Garments acquired basic state of the art machines to realize its goal. Ever since we have worked closely with Heinz Walz GmbH, along the line with Werner GmbH, all in Pfullingen, Germany, with Stoll in Reutlingen, Germany among others. Today, we boast of 20 apprentices currently being trained to become our future employees. By dint of hard work, the company has established itself as serious business enterprise.
Pax Garments is located in Sunyani the capital of the Bono Region. We have four departments (Sewing, embroidery, printing and knitting). Our departments are equipped with basic state-of-the-art machinery that enable us achieve our goal. We produce high quality products to meet the demands of the local market. To set the highest standard and become a model of excellency, pax Garments installed a solar plant in January 2020 and has since then been fully powered by solar.
Currently, we boast of clients across Ghana as well as from the international market. For the past three years, the company has embarked on training of the youth. Ever since, we have trained close to 300 young and vulnerable people in dressmaking and its related trades over 90% of whom are women. Today, the company that began with two employees now has team of sixty (60) workers (40) and apprentices (20).

Founded in 2012, Pax Garments Limited, set out itself to be a leading garment production firm in the apparel manufacturing industry. The company is duly registered as a limited liability with a branch in Techiman to cater for our customers in the Bono East region.
